A star-studded tribute to those who have served the stars & stripes, ‘Side By Side: A Celebration of Service’ brought celebrities together with military and health care heroes for Memorial Day they’d always remember (May 31).
Hosted by veteran TV actor and television personality Alfonso Ribeiro, the benefit concert and television event – which shined with performances from Katy Perry, Ne-Yo, and Gavin DeGraw – also raised money for Northwell Health’s Military Liaison Services Program.

I had a great experience visiting One World two years ago, so it’s interesting to see it cleared out and converted to a temporary concert space. Ne-Yo picked a good set of songs and showed why he’s one of the best artists there is. He has great musicality whatever the type of song. I hope he tours again soon.
